FRANKE is the quintessential example of an artistic person. He belongs in as firm element to Vienna’s nightlife, and is regularly discussed within that scene. His experiences have shaped him in developing his urban, vibrant underground style. In the world of lowbrow art, pinup magazines and tattoo shops – the universal mindset of rebellion is what Franke fell in love with. Amsterdam became the place where he was able to pursue his passion as an artist, and that special place united his penchant perfectly. It was there that he has worked as a tattoo artist even though he does not have a tattoo himself. Recently, he took on designing mood boards, characters, storyboards, political cartoons and artistic concepts for commercials. Among others, he has done works for prominent companies such as Puma and Red Bull. For Franke, time does not matter and he often mentally trails away during his painting process.
